Getting started

Follow these steps to go from a fresh installation to your first tracked visit.

  1. Go to Track Your Traffic → Settings and confirm Enable Tracker is toggled on (it is on by default).
  2. Set your preferred Cookie Duration. The default is 180 days, which means attribution data persists in the visitor’s browser for six months.
  3. Make sure Exclude Admins & Editors is enabled so your own admin visits don’t inflate your numbers.
  4. Save your settings by clicking Save Settings.
  5. Visit any page on your site’s frontend in a browser where you are not logged in as an admin. You can test using an incognito window. Add a UTM parameter to the URL, for example:
    https://yoursite.com/?utm_source=test&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=launch.
  6. Return to Track Your Traffic → Dashboard. Within a few seconds the visit should appear in the Today counter and the Top Sources table.

Your tracker is now live. Every visitor who arrives via a UTM-tagged link or a detectable referral source will be attributed automatically from this point forward.
