Track Your Traffic gives WordPress and WooCommerce store owners a complete first-party analytics solution for understanding where their traffic comes from. Unlike Google Analytics or other third-party tools, every visit record is stored directly in your own WordPress database — no data is sent to external servers, ever.
The moment a visitor lands on your site, the lightweight frontend tracker captures their source automatically. UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), paid click IDs from Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft, and LinkedIn, and referrer-based signals like organic search, social media, email, and direct traffic are all detected and stored against an anonymous visitor hash. No personal data is saved.
An analytics dashboard built for store owners, not data scientists
The admin dashboard surfaces everything that matters: total visits, unique visitors, today’s count, your top traffic channel, new visitor percentage, and bounce rate — all with period-over-period comparisons so you can see at a glance whether things are improving. Charts show your daily traffic trend and channel split. Tables show your top sources, top landing pages, and active campaigns. Adjust the time window from 7 days to a full year and the entire dashboard updates instantly.
Create and manage UTM campaigns
The built-in Campaign Manager lets you create named campaigns with full UTM parameters, set visit goals and date ranges, track real-time performance, and organize campaigns with tags and status labels. Duplicate a campaign with one click, monitor its dedicated stats view, and export everything to CSV when you need to share results.
Build and tag links in bulk
The UTM Link Builder generates properly formatted tagged URLs with quick presets for common channels like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, email, and organic social — complete with a live preview before you copy. The Bulk URL Tagger goes further: select a content type (products, product categories, pages, blog posts, or WooCommerce pages), check the URLs you want, apply your UTM parameters, and copy all tagged links at once in plain URL, HTML, or Markdown format.
Know which traffic source actually generated the lead
With the Business plan, form attribution automatically injects hidden fields into Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, and Fluent Forms. Every form submission email you receive includes a Traffic Attribution block showing the exact source, medium, campaign, channel, landing page, and referrer for that lead. No manual field setup required in your forms.
Privacy-first by design
Visitors are identified by an anonymous SHA-256 hash — no IP addresses, no cookies tied to personal profiles, no third-party SDKs. The plugin filters out known bots (18+ crawlers including Googlebot, SemrushBot, and AhrefsBot), lets you exclude your own IP, and automatically excludes logged-in admins and editors from your data. Rate limiting on the tracking endpoint prevents data flooding.
