Builder steps

Each step presents customers with a set of products to choose from. Click + Add Step to add a step to the bundle.

For each step, the following fields are available:

Step Title The heading shown to customers at this step of the wizard (e.g., “Choose a base,” “Pick your flavors”).

Product Source Where this step pulls its product options from.

• By Category (Free) — shows all published products belonging to the selected categories.
• Hand-Picked Products — shows only the specific products you select by name or SKU.

Categories (when source is By Category) A multi-select dropdown of all product categories. Hold Ctrl / Cmd to select multiple.

Products (when source is Hand-Picked Products) A searchable multi-select field. Type a product name or SKU to search.

Min Items The minimum number of items the customer must select in this step before advancing. Set to 0 to make the step optional. Locked to 1 on the Free plan.

Max Items The maximum number of items the customer can select in this step. Locked to 1 on the Free plan (single-choice steps only).

Steps can be reordered by dragging the handle on the left of each step card. Steps can be collapsed and expanded by clicking the step header.

Free plan limits: Up to 3 bundles and 3 steps per bundle. Each step is single-choice only (Min = Max = 1). Upgrading to Pro removes all limits.

Practical example: To create a single-choice step for a smoothie kit, edit the product → click Bundle Steps → click + Add Step → set Step Title to “Choose a fruit” → set Product Source to “By Category” → select the “Fruits” category → leave Min Items at 1 and Max Items at 1 → click Update.
