Getting started

Follow these steps to create your first Mix & Match product:

1. Go to Products → Add New in your WordPress admin.
2. Enter a product name and description as you would for any WooCommerce product.
3. In the Product Data panel, open the Product type dropdown and select Mix and Match.
4. Click the Mix & Match tab that appears in the product data panel.
5. Choose a Pricing Mode (start with Per Item Price if you’re unsure).
6. Set a Minimum Quantity and Maximum Quantity to define the container size (for example, 6 minimum and 6 maximum for a fixed-size 6-pack).
7. Under Child Product Source, select Specific Products, then pick the products customers can choose from in the Select Child Products field.
8. Click Publish (or Update).
9. Visit the product page on your store — customers will see the item selection interface with quantity controls and a progress indicator.
